24x7 Emergency NOC Pager

This service is designed to offer an emergency method of alerting our 24x7 NOC to a very serious problem for which you require instant assistance. This should not be used for normal support requests or before you have exhausted all other options available to you. This pager should NOT be used for standard hosting or reseller account issues.

This pager should only be used if your DEDICATED SERVER, COLO or MANAGED SERVICE is completely unavailable.

  • If only a particular service is not working (e.g. HTTP, Mail), login to your server and restart the affected daemon, resolving any configuration issues if necessary. The pager should be used only if your server is offline and requires manual intervention to bring it back.

  • If you have a connectivity problem then where possible please check via an alternative Internet Access Providers to see if the same problem exists, if it does not then please contact your Internet Access Provider.

  • Check the announcements of your Internet Access Provider, they may have scheduled work or outages which are causing the problem you are seeing.

  • Look in our forums at www.communityforums.co.uk or the announcements section of this support site to see if we have pre-announced maintenance or a post indicating we are aware of a current issue. Please allow us time to update these annoucements - we will always investigate a problem before posting to ensure any possible problem is resolved as soon as possible

  • If you have a remote reboot port login, use it to reboot your server once you have established the problem is specific to your server and cannot be resolved in any other way (e.g. server unresponsive)

  • Submit a helpdesk ticket using the helpdesk section of this website, we monitor all tickets constantly, we will prioritise your problem and respond accordingly. Please allow us reasonable time to receive your ticket and investigate before escalating the issue any further.

  • If for whatever reason you do not receive a positive outcome from the above steps, we offer the facility to page a duty technician. Please be aware this should be reserved only for the most extreme cases. If your problem can be resolved in another way, please use those means.

  • This is strictly for emergencies only, inappropriate use may incur a charge.
